1. Israel has bombed an occupied people into death, starvation, and homelessness.
2. Food aid trucks sent into Gaza to alleviate this agony are attacked by Israeli settlers, while the police look the other way.
3. American university students protest and express moral outrage at this morally outrageous behavior.
4. Former president Donald Trump has vowed to “crush” these protests upon reelection.
This has been pointed out before—by I. F. Stone, I believe—that the Palestinians are the Jews of the Middle East. For those passionately supportive of Israel or Trump (I don’t know anyone passionately supportive of Biden), take a guess how you’re going to look when this is done and viewed with clarity. Or when the movies and documentaries are made—how will you be depicted?
