Though routinely mentioned and discussed on this blog, it was refreshing to see CNN report on how the United States is not the divided nation we are constantly told about.
It is true, that when it comes to elections, this is the land of 49 percent. However, when the polling questions are direct and non-partisan (that is, not "As a Republican, how do you feel about such and such?"), the results are not 49 percent. Not even close.
Though I tend to hold CNN in low esteem, due credit must be given.
