I recently returned from a trip to the Middle East, covering Amman, the West Bank, and Beirut. During my travels, I sent those who contributed to my crowdfunding campaign a few dispatches—"angel reports"—keeping them up to date as to my whereabouts.
I have decided to post them, as it was suggested to me by a friend that the West Bank email would make for a good blog entry. The first email, from Amman, I posted today and will add the other two in the coming days.
It's my hope that the emails and accompanying photos will offer readers a personal view of at least some of the Middle East, as opposed to how the region is usually depicted.
