Interesting look at where the United States is situated in various inequality indices (from Wednesday's New York Times).
The rightward, libertarian drift of both political parties has produced substantial evidence that faith in the so-called self-regulatory "free market" is indeed bad faith. And the country is, quite literally, the poorer for it.
