Good article (and embedded video) by the Economist on Israeli settlement expansion in the Palestinian West Bank.
Between wall construction and settlement expansion, the apparent goal is to ensure that a future Palestinian state is weak and minimal. On the bright side, the Western press has gotten better over the years at reporting on this issue, which doesn't bode well for Israel's agenda.
