As I have mentioned on this blog and elsewhere, the liberal-conservative polarity dissipates in the rarified air of state power projection. The "polarity" keeps the population occupied and gives them something to debate. But when policies are examined analytically, sometimes it's difficult to tell this administration from its predecessor.
